Indoor Wheeled Trolleys

Indoor Trolleys are a real help

The elderly sometimes need a helping hand and carrying items when mobility is reduced. A prime example is carrying a cup of hot tea or a plate of food.

Doing this with a walking stick this is both difficult and dangerous with the risk of scalding and falling if someone is less steady on their feet.

These indoor wheeled trolleys not only provide stability but also a far greater degree of safety.

They are still often available from Social Services free of charge via a persons GP and Occupational therapist. If not they can be bought from most disability shops or online from Amazon.

They vary in price according to the style but I have always found the simple ones to be more than adequate. For additional safety it is an idea to line the trays with some non-slip matting.
