Vet Vouchers

The ideal gift for someone elderly who has a pet. Ever struggled to buy an elderly relative, friend or neighbour a gift for their Birthday or at Christmas? Do they have a pet? I have the purrrrfect ( pardon the pun) solution!

Vet vouchers are a new solution to large vet bills be they routine or unexpected. Even pet insurance, good as it may be, doesn’t tend to cover all the costs. This scheme is very new at present and really only flourishing in the Norfolk area with a few other practices on board elsewhere, but I am sure in time there will be a practice near you that will have joined the scheme.

Many elderly people simply rely on their pets for company and solace and as we know with loneliness being assimilated in danger to our health alongside smoking, I am sure we all agree on the importance of them. Vet bills are a real worry to elderly people and from previous research into the subject there is little help out there for them financially.

A Vet Voucher is a voucher that can be redeemed against your veterinary bill at a specified veterinary practice or group.

There are set values or you can set your own Voucher amount. The minimum is £10 and for each transaction, there is a £1 booking fee.

Practices that are registered with Vet Vouchers are supporting specified UK Animal Charities through the annual donation program. 30% of Vet Vouchers annual profits will be donated to the charitable partners thereby contributing towards animal healthcare.

To purchase a voucher visit Vet Vouchers

To View the town you would like to see participating Veterinary practices in, please enter the postcode and those that accept Vet Vouchers will be identified. As I mentioned previously, this is a very new scheme and limited practices are involves at present.

Once you have identified the practice you would like to purchase vouchers for you can view their profile and this will lead you to the option to purchase. The voucher can be emailed directly to the recipient or sent to yourself to print off and give as a gift.
