Struggle To Reach Your Feet

Ever struggled to reach your feet to put your socks/tights on ?

Do you care for someone elderly who does ? I know when my back was painful my feet seemed so far away and I had to let my husband put my socks on for me. All good and well but I have the most ticklish feet imaginable. The Soxon
aid would have been wonderful for me then.

This strange looking device is very easy to use and the user simply slip the sock over the narrow end and pulls it up along towards the broader end. They then take hold of the two long fabric straps and place the Soxon on the floor. Then the foot is placed in the open sock and the straps are used to pull it onto the foot with the Soxon simply pulling itself out. However I do have to say it has been reported that it is not ideal for people with very swollen feet.

The Soxon are available from Amazon using this link and costs just over £11 which reading some of the many very positive reviews is money well spent. In 82 reviews most customers awarded the Soxon a 4.4 out of 5. This aid may help to protect against falls and does help to keep someone independent for longer. It has a soft towelling cover unlike many cheaper alternatives and so it always feels warm and soft, even in Winter.
