Text Santa and help raise funds for the Alzheimer’s society
In 2014 the Alzheimer’s Society is one of six charities to be supported by this year’s Text Santa and the annual charity appeal which this year is sponsored by Morrisons.
This began in 2011 and Text Santa has raised over £15 million for charity inspiring the nation to make a difference at Christmas time.
A whole host of exciting activities are being arranged to raise funds and awareness leading up to a three hour live entertainment show on December 19th watched by millions. This in itself with be helping to raise awareness about dementia in the public.
The money raised by Text Santa for the Alzheimer’s Society will enable our Dementia Support Workers to provide essential support to 1,800 people. It will also go towards funding a new initiative to support people with dementia aged under 65.
