Point to Sheets!

I love what I do with such a passion. I write here on my blog and elsewhere and also   have a slightly unhealthy, overactive association with social media. This new “project” is one of the reasons I am always so happy and excited to do what I do.

Someone contacted me on Facebook asking if I knew of anything to help someone in a care home who could not verbally communicate. I designed this very simple “point to sheet” using Google images (thank you) and Canva (thank you too). I have been blown away by the response it has had.

I have printed them off, laminated them and they are available free of charge to anyone they will help. Simply contact me here via my contact page or message me on FB using the link to the top right-hand side of this article.

Whilst I was making this, people introduced me to many of the products and apps already available. Trust me to re-invent the wheel, however many of these items relied on a degree of manual dexterity that lots of older people and people with dementia may have lost, which may add to an already increasing frustration.

These are not unique or new by any means and I am shocked at the lack of resources some care homes have in this regard.
