International Caregivers Association

The newly created International Caregivers association is an exciting and ambitious project to unite the world in providing a uniformed approach to care giving with particular emphasis regarding dementia.

This is what the International team leader had to say in her welcome.

“Your active participation in listening and bringing issues in your country to the ICA management team for solutions will benefit all your citizens. What a difference it will make to join as one force, one voice instead of being isolated in our own country of origin often duplicating the same things or repeating the same problems, frustrations, and efforts!”

I appreciate this unity and another opportunity for us to talk about dementia more. This can only help to raise awareness and remove the stigma surrounding this disease.

I have watched this video several times already and find the delivery of the content interesting and informative and think everyone should watch it, I have even got my son watching it !

I have been invited to build the UK team and whilst I have limited knowledge personally regarding dementia, I have a wealth of helpful individuals who will help me. If you fancy getting involved, please contact me using the contact form here [si-contact-form form=’1′]
