I am always on the look out for innovative ideas to help the elderly and discovered the Lexon flip ON/OFF alarm clock.

Awarded the Reddot  design award best of the best 2013 this battery operated alarm clock is simplicity itself. Measuring only 2.5 x 4 inches and lightweight it is also extremely portable. When the alarm sounds the user simply has to turn the whole thing over. It is clearly marked ON one side and OFF the other and is a useful gift for someone who has arthritic fingers and finds small button or switches a fiddle.
