Good Dental Care Now, Your own Teeth Later !

Retaining your own teeth into old age.

I always just assumed , when younger, that false teeth were part and parcel of getting old ! Now dentists will do all they can to ensure you keep as many of your teeth as possible.

We can all look after our teeth now to have them in later life !!!

Twice daily brushing, regular flossing and use of interdental brushes can reduce plaque. Good gum care is also important and specialist toothpastes are readily available in supermarkets and chemists offering additional support to gum health. Also very important is to visit your dentist on a regular basis, although a recent report on Radio 4’s Inside Health, did state that if we have good teeth and gums then we don’t need to see the dentist every 6 months.

When I see how people struggle with sore mouths and shrinking gums meaning their false teeth become ill-fitting, isn’t worth a little preventative care now?
