It is not just expectant mothers that should have a hospital bag packed !

It’s always useful to have a hospital bag packed for an elderly person in case of a fall or being taken ill suddenly. It is also handy to store it in an easily reached place.

What to pack for a hospital stay ?

Here are some suggestions

  • Nightwear
  • Slippers
  • Dressing gown
  • Fresh undies
  • Wash bag
  • Any pads needed
  • Wet ones
  • A list of medication
  • A list of contact numbers
  • Enough money for the shop and television/phone
  • Mobile phone
  • Book
  • Laptop/ Kindle
  • A set of clothes for leaving hospital
