Ring Pen Ultra – Reader Review.

I recently wrote an article about Ring Pen Ultras. Ring Pen Ultras are clever plastic holders that slip onto your finger and hold a pen or even items of cutlery. I had some free samples to give away to subscribers and here is a lovely review, plus visual proof of how they can help someone who struggles to hold a normal pen.

Dear Caron,

Thanks for sending this through in the post. Here is a scanned jpg my son made to show you how I got on with it, can you tell which sample is the ‘before’ and which is the very first time I tried it?

Below is my review,
On first inspection, I realised my favoured ‘fat pen’ would not fit in this gadget. I usually use a half-inch wide jumbo pen because it’s easier to grip with my reduced dexterity. I found that many of the pens about the house were a quarter-inch wide and fitted perfectly. It took a little while to establish exactly which way the pen was supposed to fit in, having tried it with the pen inserted the wrong way round for a minute. Patience was required at first but I eventually got the hang of it and soon started to recognise my old handwriting style shine through after all these years. Although tired after my first efforts, I’ll definitely be using this again.
Thanks once again for a really useful gadget,
Eleni Charitou
