Respecting our Veterans

Today is Armed Forces Day.

Armed Forces day provides us all with a chance to acknowledge the the service men and women who choose to defend our Country.

Working myself with many Veterans who fought in the Second World War I am mindful that when they are no longer with us their stories will also be lost.

Do you think our Forces Personnel will be thought of with the same respect in the future as those who fought and defended our shores in the Second World War or will the conflicts in the Falkland Isles, Bosnia, Iran and Afghanistan be considered differently ? Whilst they fought, life here in the UK continued, no rationing, no conscription and no evacuees.
