Help for Carers

this is my favourite picture for the blog Caron Cares. It shows a glass heart in a hand.

Help for Carers, Help to Combat Carer Isolation.

Our army of carers do a wonderful job and save the Government millions of pounds every year. It is however a thank less task and poorly rewarded financially.

Many carers find themselves lonely and isolated resulting in  mental and physical illness. It is often good for carers to share thoughts and frustrations with someone who understands. Having been a carer myself I fully appreciate the physical and mental strain it causes however not everyone can really understand.

Carers Together is a new one-to-one on line support service from Carers UK and volunteering experts Time bank. Carers can chat privately on line with a trained volunteer who has personal experience of caring.

To register call 0121 2362531 or email careres@timebank.org.uk or visit their website.
