Birthday Wishes

a cake full of lit birthday cake candles

One of my favourite clients is 70 this week and as she is such a sweet and thoughtful person came up with this idea for her guests at her Birthday lunch at a local pub.

She is aware that some of her guests would not know anyone there apart from her and as some of them are shy and in many cases older than her too she wanted to have a talking point on the tables.

These name cards have the guests name on the reverse and their menu choice. This was one to help the staff and two to remind the guests what they have ordered (as most of them would have forgotten!).

On the front are one or two pictures depicting an interest or former job they may have had. Although time consuming to make they are great fun and I am convinced the guests will love them.

If you have an elderly relative or friend who is having a Birthday gathering you may fancy doing something a little different and a conversation starter for people who may be a little shy.

Happy Birthday, Hazel. 70 on Feb 5th 2013.
