There are many variants available but I saw this one the other day being used in a sheltered housing development I visit. It not only offers practicality but it also was a nice looking design.

The Roma Medical City Walker is a very light yet strong wheeled walking aid weighing only (15lbs).
Its main features include handles that can be adjusted to suit the users height. It also has both parking and running brakes & a shopping bag.
Although more expensive than other models available it has had excellent reviews from customers.

The large bag is quickly removed/attached and holds a good deal of shopping. The backrest is even handy to hold my jacket when I get too hot.
Height adjustment was easy to arrange, just the press of a small ‘tab’ in the framework, so no more getting frustrated with screws.
The walker is manageable for me on my own, I am able to fold it myself and lift in/and out of my car boot. It has the added advantage of folding down even smaller for storage.
