Remote Controlled Help

Safe and easy – remote controlled help for the elderly.

For a ridiculously affordable £14 or less you can help keep an elderly person safer at home. These remote controlled plugs allow someone to turn off electrical items without leaving the safety and comfort of their armchair.

The electrical items such as their TV plug into the special plug which is then plugged into the normal plug socket. It can then be switched on and off using the remote control. These prevent falls and overbalancing when bending down to sockets. These are also useful for hidden and difficult to reach sockets. They have a 20 meter range so should be capable of working in most homes.

  1. Hello Andrew,

Thank you for your honest comment on my post. I have shared it as do believe in a fair and honest reviews.

  2. As part of my work trying to engineer my self sufficient future, as much as I can, I have tried these: my comments on them, testing perhaps 3 or 4 (? – I cannot remember the exact details) I decided to scrap the lot after about 18 months.
They are moderately difficult to set up, they do work for, say 6 months to about 2 years then they pack up when you least expect it. –Not for me, I require Quality, Reliability, Longevity in all goods , products and services. –If they are the same as mine, they are French in origin(?) -they look similar. (I am a retired (76) inspector from the nuclear construction industry.)
