I was introduced to Remembering4you by Ethelle Lord who set up her  business in the US after caring for her husband who had dementia for ten years.

She admits she was both physically and emotionally drained but ready to share her knowledge with others. She developed a training programme aimed at professionals working with people with dementia to increase their knowledge and awareness of how to care for their specific needs.

R4Y is a B2B organization whose mission is to improve the day-to-day quality of life and care for all individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia throughout the world.

This website is dedicated to all those caregivers and long-term care facilities, including hospitals and assisted living facilities, who provide care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia such as Lewy bodies, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s disease.

Caregivers can meet and retreat here. Here you can share personal stories, take a TeleClass, sign up for one-on-one coaching with a Professional Alzheimer’s Coach, take a series of training workshops, and receive consultations on issues of management and supervision of individuals with Alzheimer’s.
