3 weeks on

For anyone who doesn’t follow me on social media but pops back here now and then this will be news to you!

this is the 2016 UK Blog Award for the best in the Health and Social Care Category

Caron Cares only went and won in the Health and Social Care category at the UK Blog Awards 2016 in London on April 29th.

This is a message from Gemma, the inspiration behind the Awards

“Afternoon UKBA16 Individual Winners,

We hope you are having a lovely bank holiday weekend.

Congratulations once again on winning a UK Blog Award. Your Blog made it to the shortlist after 2,000 entries, 79,000 public votes which narrowed your Blog down to a top ten shortlist.

The judges then assessed your Blog against a rigorous criteria of:
Design | Style | Content | Marketing |Usability
Which was then assessed against five sub-criteria’s. Some of our judges have said that the criteria is the most intense that they have critiqued against. Therefore, you should be super proud of your blog winning achievement!” I am.

I was absolutely blown away as the video below shows!!! If you just want to see my (over) reaction to being told I had won you can skip to the 3 min 50 second stage.

This second video also gives you an idea of the reason for the awards and the place blogging is now taking in the information technology and media show place.
Once again a huge Thank you to you if you voted to get me there in the first place. I have asked my 3 Judges to summarise what they liked about Caron Cares and when I receive their replies I will add them to this post.
