The kindest words

This means the world to me

I am a big softie. I wouldn’t write this blog and do the projects off-line if I wasn’t. I have to admit I cried when I received the message below. I will have been writing this blog for 4 years on the 17th of April and I have worked hard. This message made it all worthwhile.

Hi Caron,

I just wanted to ping you a quick message to say thanks for all the help and advice you’ve sent my way over the years. I’ve lost count of the things I bought my Nana based on your blog or your LinkedIn posts – like the hearing aid pyramid thing (I’m sure that’s the technical term…) which made it easier for Nana to sit around our busy (and noisy!) family table, or the pedal machine to build up the strength in her arms and legs after she fell.

I’m very sad to say that Nana passed away at the start of the year. She was honestly the most incredible person I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing, and I feel very lucky to have been loved by her, and to be a part of her family. I wanted to send you a message to say thank you for helping me make her life that little bit easier over the last few years.

I hope you carry on having many successes – and I’ll definitely keep following your progress. My other grandmother has now been diagnosed with Dementia, so I’m sure this won’t be the last message you get from me!

Thank you again. Have a great weekend.

Bee

  1. I was really touched. It meant so much to me. What a start to 2016. I always felt in my bones this was going to be a good year for Caron Cares. Mind you I have 3 cracked ones at present having fallen down my stairs and hitting the solid wall at the bottom so hard it floored me ! Luckily nothing is broken !

  2. Here, here! wonderful to know you understand a little of how supportive and important your work is. I love Bee and people like her who take the time to find out how to improve the care they are giving and I love Bee and people like her who take the time to say thank you.
Well done and here’s to the next four years!
