Don’t be lonely.

If you are blind or partially sighted the RNIB run a wonderful free phone service to chat to a group of people with similar interests. You are matched with up to 6 people and the calls usually last just under an hour.

The calls take place in the persons home at the same time each week. The person is called so there is no phone bill and over time you get to know your group well.

Trained volunteers help conversations along so there are no silent pauses and there are 100 groups nationwide with the eldest participant being 104 !
