A new book, the Dementia diaries is available for children and is designed to dispel the myths and fears they have surrounding the condition.

The “Dementia diaries” is a comic novel from the Social Innovation Lab for Kent , SILK. “Dementia diaries” has been said to to be funny, emotional and charming and was written by the film maker Matthew Synman. “Dementia diaries” follows four children as they learn about dementia through the effects of on their own grandparents. It has been distributed to Kent and Surrey schools and libraries and is available to buy from Amazon for only £5.99 plus P&P.
